Continuing August's theme of Awesome HBO shows, this week's episode is all about the astounding series The Leftovers.
The Damon Lindelof series based on the Tom Perrotta novel of the same name. The Leftovers is a character driven drama that takes a look at a society rocked by the sudden disappearance of 140 Million people all over the world. Throughout the 3 seasons the main focus of the show is on the Garvey and Murphy families as they deal with growing tensions from within as well as the threat from various cults with religion and fear on their side.
